Jojoba is a shrub that is grows in dry regions. It's known for it's long shelf-life stability and strong resistance to high temperatures. Jojoba is a carrier oil that is used with essential oils and blends for safety and to cover large areas of skin. It easily penetrates the skin and closely resembles the skin’s sebum. Whoever said you can’t do it all never met jojoba oil. Jojoba oil actually offers a multitude of benefits for the skin, body, and hair. It helps to take excess oil out of oily skin, heal acne scars, strengthen nails, defrizz hair, minimize fine lines, remove makeup… there’s not a lot this oil can’t do. You can also use it on its own or in conjunction with some of your favorite products depending on your own beauty routine and preferences.
WHAT IS A CARRIER OIL?
Carrier oils and essential oils are made from plants. Carrier oils are used to dilute essential oils and “carry” them to your skin. That’s because essential oils are potent and can cause irritation when applied directly to your skin.
Most carrier oils are unscented or lightly scented and don’t interfere with an essential oil’s therapeutic properties. They may be used alone or with other oils to nourish your skin.

Unlike some other essential oils, jojoba oil doesn’t need to be diluted and can be applied directly to your skin. Before using jojoba oil, for the first time, you should do a patch test to make sure you’re not allergic. You can do a patch test by following these steps: On your inner forearm, apply three or four drops of jojoba oil. Cover the area with a bandage and wait 24 hours. Remove the bandage and check the skin underneath. If there’s no sign of hives, redness, or irritation, you’re in the clear. The way you use jojoba oil depends on your desired result. You can use it as a lip balm to soothe dry, cracked lips, or you can apply it all over your face before bed as an anti-aging serum. Jojoba oil is safe to use around your eye area, unlike most other ingredients, which makes it a popular makeup remover for oil-based makeup.
1. Always close the cap tightly after use.
2. Keep away from direct sunlight as exposure may damage the product.
3. Store in a cool, dry place.
1. Strictly for external use only.
2. Patch test on skin before use. It can irritate sensitive skin.
3. Don’t use on children, pregnant or lactating women.
4. Since jojoba oil is hypoallergenic, it’s generally considered safe to apply topically. However, there are some rare cases in which jojoba oil has caused an allergic reaction. Symptoms included hives and itching.
To avoid these side effects, make sure to do a patch test (described above) before using jojoba oil
